Parker's Diamond Detailing

Parker's Project Spotlight: Detailing Stories

Happy fall everyone!

We've had an incredible summer and are still riding that wave of work as we go into cooler weather, so thank you everyone for the work! We have a couple of services we have been getting a lot of questions about that would be beneficial to cover.

Mold

We've been getting a lot of calls regarding mold in vehicles due to all of the rain over the past few weeks, and it is taking some time to get to everyone. If you're on the waiting list, PLEASE try to dry out the interior using a drying aid such as a fan. We've seen cars go from zero mold to completely covered in white mold in less that 72 hours, so please do what you can to keep it dry until it can be professionally cleaned. Keeping the vehicle in your garage with the doors open can help ventilate the interior as well.

Summer time is officially here folks!

We've been cruising along and staying busy thanks to all of you guys! We are currently in the works with a few new products that we will be offering in the coming weeks. We recently upgraded our carpet machine with a new more powerful heated unit and are experimenting with a new ceramic coating that is getting durability tested.

This is also an ideal time of year to get a your vehicle polished and ceramic coated for those folks who have been holding off with the pollen season! Also keep in mind this is the time of year where everyone's cars get dirty from trips to the beach and interiors take the brunt of the little ones goldfish, so please keep in mind that we will get you on the schedule as soon as humanly possible!

Pollen Season

The detailed engine of a BMW

It's spring time folks! And pollen season is officially here!

With cars starting to turn yellow over the next few weeks, we get a lot of questions regarding keeping vehicles clean for longer. We definitely encourage getting a sealant or ceramic coating applied. While your paint will still get dirty, hydrophobic coatings help with both keeping the pollen off longer, and make the pollen easier to rinse off when the accumulation is high.

66 Ford Galaxie!

A black 66 Ford Galaxie

This was one of those landmark details!

We had the pleasure of working with both an incredible owner and a very unique car. This is a 1966 Ford Galaxie 7 Litre that has spent most of its recent life being shuttled on a trailer from car show to car show, and had never had a proper polish and correction procedure in 20 years. This paint was in wonderful shape from being kept inside, but did not have that “wow” factor that is needed to win shows. We spent 12 hours cutting and polishing the paint, and got the paint looking better than it ever has. It was very hard to pick just a few photos to share with you all, so we will for sure be posting a few more over the next few days.

October blast!

black car gleaming in the sunlight

Here's to another fantastic month of detailing!

October treated us very well and we were able to take full advantage of some of the new tools and products we've recently acquired, like our new foam cannon system and our new exterior sealant products! Both really improve the quality of our exterior wash and increase the shine and protection compared to our outgoing sealants. We also had dozens of beautiful interior details that came out flawless, and our very first Rivian R1 detail!
